Obama truely hates the military

HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION TO LET
THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES.
WHAT AN EMPTY HEADED PERSON HE MUST BE….
“Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon
Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require
veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540
million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries
to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The
President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the
opposition to his proposal.
“Look, it’s an all volunteer force,” Obama complained. “Nobody
made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the
risks.. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It
doesn’t compute..” “I thought these were people who were proud to
sacrifice for their country, “Obama continued. “I wasn’t asking for
blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in
its history, I’d have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to
try to help reduce the nation’s deficit. I guess I underestimated the
selfishness of some of my fellow Americans.”
Please pass this on to every one including every vet and their
families whom you know.”
I would ask who’s side this guy in on, but I already know. It’s not America.
Obama Raids Veteran Benefits
August 7, 2009 on 1:30 am | In Mil Blog, Politics | No CommentsTRICARE FOR LIFE’S FUTURE….
TRICARE For Life was instituted to correct the broken promise that military retirees would receive free healthcare coverage for life and it covers the Medicare co-pay. Now a heavy assault has begun on Veterans’/Retirees’
benefits to pay for other programs our President promised during the campaign. An it is a high priority of his administration. The one item of most interest to Retired Military is in Article 189. If approved by Congress
the first assault wave would hit in 2011 and would hit hard. It would initiate cost sharing to require retirees to pay the first $525 of medical cost and 50% of the next $4,725 for a first year cost of $2,888 per person. It would be indexed to increase with inflation. A reason given for this action (for PR effect) is “overuse” by Retiree s.
For those of you who are covered by TFL you will want to pay attention (Below) to what BG Bob Clements has surfaced about the future of TFL.
In any case, on page 189 of the Congressional Budget Office report, see the note below on how to get to that spot, there is a strong recommendation to eventually eliminate the program as it is too expensive. Just another move to slight those of us who dedicated much of our adult lives to the defense of our country. Heads-up from BG Bob Clements,USAF Ret(P38 Bob)
The following has been added to the Congressional Budget Office Web
Site www.cbo.gov/
a. Budget, Options, Volume 1: Health Care
(www.cbo.gov/doc.cfm?index=9925)
For those who have never opened one of these web sites from OMB :
1. double click on the above URL
2. click on PDF
3. click on the binoculars
4. do a search for TFL
Now here it is folks and I will guarantee if you sit around on your behind and do nothing about it as they bring these options forward this coming year, you will lose one of the best healthcare benefits that the Medicare eligible retired military have.It is short of the promises made that we fought so hard for back in the late 90s and early 2000s but it is
still the best healthcare program that anyone in the United States has, bar none.
People who are professionals always look for the channel of least resistance when it comes to cutting money out of the Federal and DOD budget. I can tell you this straight on, military retirees are one of those channels
of least resistance noted for sitting around, doing nothing, and waiting for ole Joe to do it for them. You had better wake up. Your medical benefits are prime target. If you lose them, you have nobody to blame but yourself country.
To show you how stupid these professionals can be at times just read the data on the noted sites closely. You will see that in spite of the MTFs (Military Treatment Facility) need to get patients back to keep their doctors busy and the hospitals from going to clinic status, these people from OMB would employ a means to keep retirees from using MTF facilities by
charging them a fee for services. How dumb can you get.
Even if you are an Obama fan, and believe that changeth cometh, TFL option from OMB will not go away. They need the money they spend on you for other programs for people who produce nothing but votes to keep their boss in office.
These people hate the military and will cut them to pieces any and every way possible

A Message for Independence Day
I have fond memories of the 4th of July going back to when I was probably only four or five years old. We remember the parades, the picnics or barbecues, and the happy gathering of families. During the American Revolution, the legal separation of the American colonies from Great Britain actually took place on July 2, 1776, when the Second Continental Congress voted to approve the resolution of independence previously put forth by Richard Henry Lee of Virginia. After debate and revision Congress approved the Declaration of Independence on July 4th.
Of note is the letter John Adams, one of only two Founding Fathers who went on to become president, wrote to his wife Abigail:
“…This day ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of the continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.” (Adams Family Papers: An Electronic Archive. Massachusetts Historical Society)
Like so many of the Founding Fathers, Adams recognized that the day of deliverance came from the providential hand of almighty God. I am not sure about large numbers of duplicitous politicians and other so-called public servants today, whether elected or appointed.
Freedom is a great thing, and we do well to celebrate it on the 4th of July. That being said, it’s something rooted in truth, and apart from the truth there can be no authentic freedom.
“If you continue in my word [truth] you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” (John 8:31-32)
An individual, a country, or a world that does not remain rooted in objective truth cannot ultimately live in freedom. If you are serious about your faith, my dear friends, I strongly recommend that you read Catechism #1730-1748 as we approach the wonderful celebration of Independence Day, or the 4th of July.
Some highlights of this reality:
1731: Freedom is the power, rooted in reason and will, to act or not to act, to do this or that, and so to perform deliberate actions on one’s own responsibility. By free will one shapes one’s own life. Human freedom is a force for growth and maturity in truth and goodness; it attains its perfection when directed toward God, our beatitude [true happiness].
1733: The more one does what is good, the freer one becomes…
One of the most common errors of all time is to confuse freedom and license. Today, frequently under the specious pretext freedom, mankind acts in a manner that is really license. We are not morally free to do whatever we choose to do. Only when rooted in truth and acting in objective truth can we hope to be free. No one has the moral right to do evil. No one has the moral right to choose to take an innocent life or to engage in actions that are out of accord with right reason or any objective standards of morality we have ever known.
The inevitable consequence of abusing freedom is losing freedom. Soon, if we do not alter our present course, the United States will no longer be the home of the brave and the land of the free. Loss of personal freedoms, one at a time, is already well underway. One day we shall awake from our moral slumber and find that we have become slaves.
We must live in truth and act in truth if we are to remain free. Abuse it and I assure you we shall lose it! Wake up America! God is not a disinterested spectator. Let’s thank God for our freedom, but let’s not sit by idly while the forces of darkness divorce freedom from truth. For, as Jesus says, “The man who sins is the slave of sin.” (John 8:34)
I’ll leave you with the motto of the United States Army Special Forces on this 4th of July:
De oppresso liber! (To free the oppressed)
Indeed, Jesus came to set the captives free. Let’s do our part for our country and our world that we might all remain free in the glorious freedom of the children of God.
God Bless You.
Veterans For A Strong America
June 30, 2009 on 10:07 pm | In Mil Blog, Politics, Uncategorized | No CommentsWe are formed. We are official. We are a group of veterans, and family, and friends who will be working to return America to sanity.
The current group in office are not liberals, they are statists.
“stat⋅ism /ˈsteɪtɪzəm/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [stey-tiz-uhm] Show IPA
Use statism in a Sentence–noun 1. the principle or policy of concentrating extensive economic, political, and related controls in the state at the cost of individual liberty.”
We seek Republican, Democrat, and Independents who oppose that concept, and the reality.
We seek people who want a plan of action, and who are willing to work.

Daniel Gilyeat, the Candidate

He had a chance to speak to the crowd. He received a standing ovation. He is an underdog, and folks recognized that and seemed to be pulling for him. Now we work to support him and his candidacy. The road is long. The time is short.

Let the games begin! Over the weekend we are launching a support group to support good solid AMERICAN candidates. In the beginning we were planning to start with local elections, you know, dog catcher, school board, city council etc and get some experience and hopefully begin to have an effect.
Late last week we discovered that Daniel Gilyeat, was a declared candidate for the US Congress in the 3rd District. He is opposed by two other Republican candidates in the primary. They may be good people I don’t know. I know Danny. I support Danny.
The ultimate result of this campaign is a face off with Dennis Moore for a seat in the US Congress. Moore is a sly underhanded snake oil selling Johnson County lawyer who cloaks himself in the mask of “Blue Dog” Democrat. You know, one of those guys who pretend to be independent thinkers. His voting record clearly positions him as a Pelosi Poodle. He doesn’t go to the bathroom without Nancy’s consent.
A hot day in the park.
Judgement Day for a Soldier
June 8, 2009 on 9:09 pm | In Mil Blog | 5 Comments…. Gr@ym@n sends…
A Soldier Reports to God:
“The soldier stood and faced his God Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining Just as brightly as his brass.
Step forward now, you soldier, How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek? To My Church have you been true?”
The soldier squared his shoulders and said,”No, Lord, I guess I ain’t
Because those of us who carry guns Can’t always be a saint.
I’ve had to work most Sundays And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I’ve been violent, Because the streets are awfully rough
But, I never took a penny That wasn’t mine to keep…
Though I worked a lot of overtime When the bills got just too steep,
And I never passed a cry for help, Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me, I’ve wept unmanly tears.
I know I don’t deserve a place Among the people here
They never wanted me around Except to calm their fears.
If you’ve a place for me here, Lord, It needn’t be so grand,
I never expected or had too much, But if you don’t, I’ll understand.”
There was a silence all around the throne Where the saints had often trod
As the soldier waited quietly, For the judgment of his God,
‘Step forward now you soldier You’ve borne your burdens well,
Walk peacefully on Heaven’s streets, You’ve done your time in Hell.’”
Pakistanis Stand Up
June 7, 2009 on 2:16 pm | In Mil Blog | 3 Comments“ISLAMABAD — Hundreds of Pakistanis banded together to attack Taliban strongholds in a troubled northwest region to avenge a deadly homicide bombing at a local mosque, a top government official said Sunday.
The incident underscored a swing in the national mood toward a more anti-Taliban stance — a shift coupled with a recent surge in homicide attacks as the military wages an offensive against the Taliban in the Swat Valley.
Some 400 villagers from Upper Dir district’s Haya Gai area, where a homicide bomber killed 33 worshippers at a mosque on Friday, formed a militia and attacked five villages in the neighboring Dhok Darra area, said Atif-ur-Rehman, the district coordination officer.
The citizens’ militia has occupied three of the villages and is trying to push the Taliban out of the other two. Some 20 houses suspected of harboring Taliban were destroyed, he said. At least four militants were killed, he said.
The government has in the past encouraged local citizens to set up militias, known as lashkars, to oust Taliban fighters.
“It is something very positive that tribesmen are standing against the militants. It will discourage the miscreants,” Rehman said.”
Well it’s about time. The other good news is that the EU is turning to the right. Liberals are failing.
