The mayor also read a letter from the Governator .. Arnold Schwarzenegger. He had been told about Julie’s wish, and he wrote her. The mayor had a little trouble reading it. Arnold says Julie is his hero. In the beginning she wanted to meet him. Now he wants to meet her, and he has invited her to come visit him at his expense in California.

At the end Julie’s mom had a chance to thank everyone for their love and support.

  1. You’ve known it her whole life, Jim… but you’ve been blessed with an amazing granddaughter. She wouldn’t have that kind heart and warm, giving spirit if it wasn’t for the way you and her parents raised her. Faced with a similar tragedy, I doubt my children would make the choice Julie did, and neither would most children. I can’t even imagine the pride you and your family have for her!

  2. We are so happy for Julie and the hungry people. Julie deserves every honor she gets. Her Wisconsin contingent is very proud of her.

  3. Julie is a happy girl. Thank you for your love. Today we take a photo of Julie in sun glasses and a small female terminator look.

She will leave for Calif on 1 Dec for her visit. I want to print the photo and have her autograph it for Arnold.
