The kind of guy who should be elected

The kind of guy who should be elected

The last week has been a whirlwind. It was two weeks ago Thursday that I found out, by accident, that a guy named SSgt Daniel Gilyeat, USMC (Ret) was a candidate for US Congress. As you may know, some four weeks back I began working with a guy named Nick and a woman named Donna to form a corporation the purpose of which was to provide support, training, and teambuilding for conservative candidates. It was our initial thought that we would target local and state offices. When we found about Daniel, we began to check things out and assess his potential. In very short order we came to the conclusion, we had to “jump in”.

Without discussing too much about specifics here (the blog walls have ears) things began to happen. It was almost like Divine intervention. The corporation was formed. We began to develop contacts with experience eager to help. There is a real pent up desire on the part of a lot of people to change government, and bring back balance. We will be working with Democrats, Independents, and Republicans, not only locally but nationally.

More specific reports will be launched shortly to supporters and sympathizers. I am convinced, based on many conversations both one on one, and with members of crowds, that too many good candidates are left to twist slowly in the breeze by others in their own party (each one of the parties).
Members of the various political parties who are in the “in crowd” clique are as inbred as those hill people in the movie “Deliverance”. You remember the banjo player in dueling banjos and his family? Well that’s them … only with dentally enhanced teeth. If you decide you want to run for any office don’t worry about the front of your body armor, put double plates in the back because that is where you will get stabbed.

Let me just say that we are beginning to attract some really good and powerful people, and assembling them into a team.

I find this to be very exciting and hopeful. Trust me on this one; the troops are a strong motivator for us all to make sure we succeed.
We ask for God’s help.
