Just for an update… we rode around playing patriotic songs. danes have a better since of humor then brits. lol but it was fun. danes actually get into it too they are good people lol. then i got a package from ner. big thanks to the kids for drawings, thanks to ner for air fresheners and water balloons (they will come in handy this week) and i’m pretty sure it’s jim, his dad, or both, thanks for the prayer. it’s an airborne prayer by an airborne soldier. much appreciation to all.

Well Ner and Maizie did most of the work on that sign. And everyone loved sending out the message.
You got a fan club. The 3X World Tour Groupies!
I remember one time in a club in Norway, one Marine brought a guitar. The place was crawling with Brits and Norwegians. Our favorite song was “The Battle of New Orleans”.
Which reminded me of a story … a Brit and an American soldier were touring a museum in the UK. There was a tattered American flag on the wall. The Brit pointed to it with pride and said, “That is the flag we captured on Bunker Hill, and we still have the flag.”
The American said, “Nice, we still have the hill”.

Had lil downtime and i got to writing… figured i’d post it. Just a lil randomness i guess.
a man walked into a bar one day
sat next to another guy
holdin his hand up he ordered
his martini dry
as he reached up for his glass
he started to complain
about the bruise and cut on his hand
and how much it was in pain
he told this guy he hit his hand
getting into his car
it’s ugly and it hurts and he even bets
its gonna leave him with a lil scar
the guy beside said he could relate
as he’s bumped his hand before too
but when he bumped his hand
it was a little different then you
he bumped it as he was reaching for
a can of ammo while under attack
it left a scar and it hurt a bit
but he was happy to be back
he reached up for his whisky and
martini man saw the scar on his hand
he started to think about that day
and he just couldn’t understand
that bump that seemed so important
that it took place in conversation that night
when this guy beside him
had been in unimaginable fights
so he bought this man he didn’t know
another whiskey to drink
the guy said thanks i needed that
he replied no thanks for making me think
sometimes there’s little things
that seem so big to us
that we let it overcome the importance
and it causes such a fuss
remember now when you sit down
how your day has been pretty ruff
compared to the guy beside you
it may not have been that tuff

As usual I appreciate your writing. Donna Uetz, another of our 3 directors of v4asa did the numbers.
1.3 per cent of the population of the US are on active duty.
13.something are veterans of the military.
It is truely a small club.
We need family and friends, even they will not really understand live in the military.

Thank you so much for making the poster. It meant the world to him. And it meant the world to me. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.
