Conservative Numbers UP
June 15, 2009 on 8:12 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments“PRINCETON, NJ – Thus far in 2009, 40% of Americans interviewed in national Gallup Poll surveys describe their political views as conservative, 35% as moderate, and 21% as liberal. This represents a slight increase for conservatism in the U.S. since 2008, returning it to a level last seen in 2004. The 21% calling themselves liberal is in line with findings throughout this decade, but is up from the 1990s.”
Looks like the current administration is a help on the road to success. That is as long as we work for it.
Tea Parties Continue.

By MATTHEW LEE
WASHINGTON (AP) – President Barack Obama on Thursday tapped four big Democratic Party donors for plum ambassadorships in Europe and Latin America while naming six career diplomats to posts in Africa, the Mideast and the Pacific.”
Probably typical of any president regardless of party …. but annoying all the same … read the rest here.
Barack Hussein Urkel and Change
June 11, 2009 on 8:00 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments Below is just one pitiful story on the news lately. Another recent Fox News interview involved a 50-year old GM dealer whose new car sales and parts business ranked 250th (top 6.5%) out of 3800 dealerships! He received his “Dear John” letter two days after visiting GM field managers had insisted he purchase several acres of adjoining and extremely high-priced vacant land in order to expand his dealership.By the way, he said he has been a significant contributor to the GOP over the years – especially the McCain/Palin ticket!
This is beyond imagination…
Letter From A Dodge Dealer
Letter to the editor 5-20-9
My name is George C. Joseph. I am the sole owner of Sunshine Dodge-Isuzu, a family owned and operated business in Melbourne, Florida .
My family bought and paid for this automobile franchise 35 years ago in 1974. I am the second generation to manage this business.
We currently employ 50+ people and before the economic slowdown we employed over 70 local people. We are active in the community and the local chamber of commerce. We deal with several dozen local vendors on a day to day basis and many more during a month. All depend on our business for part of
their livelihood. We are financially strong with great respect in the market place and community. We have strong local presence and stability.
I work every day the store is open, nine to ten hours a day. I know most of our customers and all our employees. Sunshine Dodge is my life.
On Thursday, May 14, 2009 I was notified that my Dodge franchise, that we purchased, will be taken away from my family on June 9, 2009 without compensation and given to another dealer at no cost to them. My new vehicle inventory consists of 125 vehicles with a financed balance of 3 million
dollars. This inventory becomes impossible to sell with no factory incentives beyond June 9, 2009.
Without the Dodge franchise we can no longer sell a new Dodge as “new,” nor will we be able to do any warranty service work.
Additionally, my Dodge parts inventory, (approximately $300,000.) is virtually worthless without the ability to perform warranty service.
There is no offer from Chrysler to buy back the vehicles or parts inventory.
Our facility was recently totally renovated at Chrysler’s insistence, incurring a multi-million dollar debt in the form of a mortgage at Sun Trust Bank.
HOW IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CAN THIS HAPPEN? THIS IS A PRIVATE BUSINESS NOT A GOVERNMENT ENTITY.
This is beyond imagination! My business is being stolen from me through NO FAULT OF OUR OWN. We did NOTHING wrong.
This atrocity will most likely force my family into bankruptcy. This will also cause our 50+ employees to be unemployed. How will they provide for their families? This is a total economic disaster.
HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN IN A FREE MARKET ECONOMY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ?
I beseech your help, and look forward to your reply. Thank you.
Sincerely,
George C. Joseph
President & Owner
Sunshine Dodge-Isuzu
Hat tip to Mike N for this one.

June 10, 2009 on 7:22 pm | In Politics | No CommentsThe most recent issue of “Common Sense with Chris Steineger”
Chris is my state senator. He is a Democrat. Common sense and Democrats seem to be a contradiction in terms.
It seems that there are 3 “Constitutional Amendments” on the November 2010 ballot.
1. Is a change that reads “A person has the right to keep and bear arms for the defense of self, family, home, and state, for lawful hunting and recreational use, and for any other lawful purpose.”
2. Authorizes the legislature to classify watercraft differently than other personal property (currently assessed at 30% of fair market value).
3. An ammendment that would eliminate “mental illness” as a reason one could be disqualified to vote.
Allow me to explain number 3, mostly Kansas votes the right way. Our Senators are Republicans. Most of our Congressthings are Republicans … with the exception of Dennis Moore and the former governor Kathlene the Sebelius who has been elevated by Urkel to the star chamber.
It would appear that mental patients already vote in a number of states … witness the elevation of Unkel and company to a position of leadership. Leadership and ethics are two of their void suits.
Now if we allow mental patients to vote in Kansas, just imagine all the other Urkels and Sebeliuses we can elevate to governmental positions!
That said … water craft will be a constitutional ammendment? Give me a break!
Well it’s about time

How the Politburo Hates Those Cars
June 10, 2009 on 2:13 pm | In Politics | 3 CommentsObama Motors Has a Deal for You!
Wednesday, June 10, 2009
By Rich Galen
“The Politburo of the United States, which used to be known as the U.S. House of Representatives, yesterday passed a bill which, according to the Associated Press, “Provides vouchers of up to $4,500 for consumers who turn in their gas-guzzling cars and trucks for more fuel-efficient vehicles.”
I try to be as much like Members of Congress as possible, so I have not read this bill prior to my proclaiming my opposition to it.
The way this thing will work is, if you have a car which gets 18 miles per gallon or less, and you trade it in on a car which gets 22 miles per gallon or more you will receive a voucher from your government in the amount of $3,500. If you trade in a gas guzzler for one which has a fuel efficiency rating of 10 mph more, then the voucher grows to $4,500.
For SUVs, minivans, and light trucks the deal is a little sweeter. If your particular Hummer gets 18 MPH or less and you trade it in on a vehicle which gets just two mile per gallon more, you will qualify for the $3,500 coupon. If the new truck gets FIVE miles more per gallon, you get the full $4,500.”
