And about the journey throught life
Seems like just yesterday we met. This year we celebrated our 37th Anniversary. You could say we raised each other from puppies. Here's a tip if you want constant excitement in your life, have 5 kids or more. Never a dull minute. We are very proud of our extended family.
The way we were on our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We will renew our vows again at 40. No need to rush things is there? Anything to justify a good steak dinner eh?
When it began
And of course before you can have any anniversaries you gotta do this. Our anniversary is on the31st of the month. I have never missed remembering it once. Because Jenny's birthday is on the 30th of the month a year later. So every time Jenny has a birthday, I know to ask Ma out. Clever eh? Of course Ma and I knew each other longer than that. We dated for two years in college, after which we were engaged for one year.

If a gurl has a Raggety Ann doll, and a Navy watch cap, she will truely find Inner Peace.
Three months after we were married we both went into the Marines. I was a Marine, Ma had the harder part, wife of a Marine. Later they wrote a book "Roses and Thorns" a book containing a wealth of information helpful to wives of Marines. But in those days, we made it up as we went along. Below is a photo me of being commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant of Marines. Present in the photo are Ma, my Pop and Mom, and a tall guy named Gibson, he and I went to high school together and he recently returned from Viet Nam and had just been discharged from the Marines.
Relax this won't be the entire thing we are still living it.
This is just a reader's digest snapshot thingie of where we came from. As we go on, and get better at this web and blog stuff we will add photo sections of the kids and their kids. That, after all is what's important here.
The real intent of this thing is to provide a touchstone for our extended family to stay in touch through geographic separation. And to provide photos on the various sites for folks to look at from the far stretches that life has found them. I can say this... about that ... building multiple web pages and a blog takes time and a lot of learning. Thank God for Scoresby.
